The Cope Collective is a band with a higher purpose. For these Tennessee natives it’s more than just music. It’s a movement.
The Cope Collective’s forthcoming debut album, “The Hardest Part,” rises above a crowded alternative music landscape, carving out a distinct sonic niche by combining ethereal, cloud-textured verses with booming rock choruses and heartfelt emotional sincerity. With an approach firmly rooted in the healing power of music, The Cope Collective merges visceral emotion with refined melodies, insightful lyrics, and top-notch production to create an album already generating buzz among fans and industry insiders.
Songs based on real life struggles fuse earnest lyrics with densely layered synths to create songs that audibly re-create their personal experiences. Songs like “Wolf Howling” and “Proud of Me” showcase the band’s power and energy through driving guitars, edgy vocals, and emphatic drums while doubling down on earnestness and authenticity.
Production-wise, the songs on “The Hardest Part” arrive radio- and concert-ready. Whether in their cars or at a live show, it’s easy to envision listeners singing along to heartfelt lyrics and choruses booming through the speakers.
For their debut album, The Cope Collective worked with Grammy-nominated Knoxville producer Travis Wyrick, whose body of work includes acclaimed projects with bands such as P.O.D., Pillar, Nine Lashes, and 10 Years, as well as artists such as TobyMac, Dolly Parton, and Brent Smith from Shinedown. During his career, Wyrick has won four Dove Awards and produced more than 30 No. 1 radio singles.
The Cope Collective’s debut album, “The Hardest Part,” will be released on January 1, 2025.
